Nussbaumer Health Full Body Ultrasound Screening includes Carotid, Thyroid, Abdomen & Pelvis (Prostate for Male Patients) and Lower Arterial (PAD) Ultrasound Screenings. Each ultrasound is performed between 30 minutes minutes or less in a chair sitting up or on a scan table lying down, depending on the exam and on your preference. Water based gel or lotion is placed on the ultrasound probe and gently moves along the areas being surveyed. These are painless examinations that are performed fully clothed, exposing your abdomen area, during the abdomen and pelvic exams, from your sternum to the top of your pelvis, draped to protect your clothing.
